The Daymark app

Information stored on your device

The habits, quit counters, check-ins, notes and settings you enter in Daymark are stored on your device. The app does not require an account. You can create a JSON backup file at any time for free and choose where to keep it; the developer does not receive that file.

What we do not do

Daymark contains no advertising. The developer does not sell your data.

Reminders

Reminders are scheduled locally on your device using Android notification and alarm features. Daymark may ask for notification, exact-alarm or battery-optimization permissions so that reminders fire on time; you can decline or revoke them in system settings.

Deleting your data

Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage removes the data stored on the device. Backup files you exported remain wherever you saved them until you delete them.

Health and wellbeing disclaimer

Daymark is a tracking tool, not a medical or mental-health service. If you are quitting smoking, alcohol or another substance, talk to a doctor or a qualified support service.

This website

This website is a static set of pages. It does not use cookies, analytics, advertising or tracking scripts, and it does not load third-party fonts or embeds. Where a guide includes a small calculator, it runs in your browser and what you type into it is not sent anywhere.

Like any web server, the server that hosts these pages may keep standard access logs (IP address, requested URL, time and browser string) for security and troubleshooting. Links to Google Play and to the organizations cited in the guides lead to third-party sites with their own policies.

Contact

Questions about this policy or requests about purchase-related data can be sent through the developer contact shown on the Daymark page on Google Play. The developer is Andrew Boyko, an independent software developer.
